Kay Kay de Monkul Lookout Walkway by Gonzalo Verdugo and Carlos Seguel

The Kay Kay de Monkul Lookout Walkway, designed by Gonzalo Verdugo and Carlos Seguel Arquitectos, is a low-impact wooden boardwalk situated in the Monkul Wetland, a critical coastal ecosystem in southern Chile. The project, covering 1110 square meters, was completed in 2026 and is documented in photographs by Natalia Segura. The walkway aims to allow visitors to traverse and appreciate the landscape without disrupting its delicate environmental balance. The design team included Carlos Seguel, with general construction by the Dirección de Arquitectura MOP Chile.
