JW Anderson Spring 2027: Curation as Creative Tool

Jonathan Anderson's JW Anderson Spring 2027 collection is framed around the concept of curation, derived from the Latin 'curare' (to care for). The lookbook, shot by Heikki Kaski in a Hella Keck-designed seascape studio, features a deliberate selection of garments, accessories, and lifestyle objects. Anderson reworks his signature fold-over trouser and twist jean with new fabrications. Craft anchors the collection: Donegal wool knits with wildflowers and ferns, a house knit based on a traditional Irish cottage, and a squirrel motif from a Scottish Fair Isle pattern from Sanquhar. A red and blue coat and scarf result from a collaboration with Johnstons of Elgin. The cast includes Ivor Braka, Tommy Campe, ceramicist Akiko Hirai, Dree Hemingway, and art critic Dr. James Fox.
