JUNG and Dornbracht Launch Brushed Bronze Finish for LS 990 Switches and Faucets

architecture-design · 2026-06-16

German electrical systems manufacturer JUNG has partnered with faucet maker Dornbracht to introduce a brushed bronze finish for its iconic LS 990 switch series, celebrating the line's 60th anniversary in 2026. The new finish unifies the aesthetic of light switches and faucets, allowing designers to coordinate metal tones in kitchens and bathrooms. The brushed bronze treatment, applied by hand, reduces glare and resists daily wear. It joins JUNG's existing metal family of aluminum, steel, chrome, and antique brass. The finish is available on frames from single to quintuple configurations, in vertical or horizontal arrangements, and extends to JUNG's smart home components including JUNG HOME and KNX push buttons, motion detectors, and LS TOUCH room controllers. The collaboration aims to eliminate visual clutter by matching switch plates with plumbing fixtures, addressing a common pain point in interior design where standard switches disrupt cohesive aesthetics.
