Julien's Auctions is set to host a live auction titled "Kaiju King: The Sompote Sands Legacy Collection" on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in Los Angeles and online at juliensauctions.com. This event will showcase more than 300 original film artifacts and memorabilia from the estate of Sompote Sands, a renowned Thai filmmaker and tokusatsu pioneer celebrated for his contributions to the Ultraman franchise. For the first time, these items will be available for bidding, offering fans and collectors a rare chance to acquire pieces of pop culture history. The collection, gathered over 50 years by the founder of Chaiyo Productions, was previously exhibited at his museum, 'Sompote House,' in Thailand and includes production-used suits and various artifacts.
