Czech-born, Amsterdam-based photographer Julie Hrudová (b. 1988, Prague) creates street photography that transforms everyday reality into surprising, surreal images through sharp observation, impeccable timing, and playful juxtapositions of people, objects, and urban architecture. She studied Media & Culture at the University of Amsterdam and Film & Photographic Studies at Leiden University. Her work has appeared in The Guardian, CBS News, VICE News, and Dutch daily Het Parool. Since 2019, she has been a member of the street photography collective Burn My Eye.
