Judeline Tops Spotify Global Chart, Champions Housing Rights in Spain

Lara Fernández, known professionally as Judeline, has become the first Spanish woman to lead Spotify's global chart, holding the number one position for five consecutive weeks. The 21-year-old artist from Jerez de la Frontera (2003) has achieved fame gradually through consistent releases, but her collaboration with Karol G on the track 'Bby Wow' from Karol G's latest album accelerated her rise to stardom. Judeline is leveraging her newfound platform, including a cameo in 'La bola negra' and the release of her song 'La falda', to support housing rights demonstrations in Spain. In a recent interview, she stated that cities belong to those with purchasing power, not to those who work in them, highlighting the ongoing battle between Hispanic and Latin identities. Her participation in Karol G's album has brought her widespread attention, and she continues to build her career step by step. The artist's success marks a significant moment for Spanish music on the global stage, as she balances her musical achievements with social advocacy.
