Juan Vidal introduced "El Segundo Edén," a capsule collection for Spain Spring 2027, at The Palace Hotel in Madrid. This launch followed the March release of "Edén," with Vidal characterizing the new collection as a continuation of that aesthetic. "El Segundo Edén" takes a more athletic approach compared to his earlier designs and was created in collaboration with two Spanish brands, S'more and Hispanitas. Vidal noted that the collection evolves the themes of "Edén" into a more graphic, urban environment. Featuring oversized garments, the standout piece is a full skirt, crafted from cuts, godets, and structural panels reminiscent of a diamond's facets. The collection showcases bold colors, unexpected combinations, and a mix of influences, with Vidal highlighting the challenge of merging seemingly opposing elements: craft and technology, rigidity and stretch, ceremony and sportswear.
