JQY House by André Becker and Ricardo Karman Completed in São Sebastião

The JQY House, completed in 2023 in São Sebastião, Brazil, was crafted by architects André Becker and Ricardo Karman, who also coordinated the project. Covering 500 m², the residential design was curated for publication by Susanna Moreira, with photography by Ana Mello. Landscaping and pool design were managed by Raul Pereira, while electrical and plumbing work was executed by Sandretec, and Persolly provided the glass louvers. Construction was led by Ricardo Peters and Fabio Popak. The layout emphasizes the beach view, with the living room, dining room, veranda, pool, and two suites on the upper floor all oriented towards the ocean, elevated slightly above beach level. A Portuguese-language version of the project feature is also available.
