József G Kiss Designs Painterly Brand Identity for Restaurant Elm in Helsinki
József G Kiss has designed an eye-catching brand identity for Restaurant Elm, which is situated in a charming wooden villa at Puistokatu 4 in Kaivopuisto, Helsinki. His design draws inspiration from the vibrant work of Finnish artist Linda Linko, utilizing expressive brushstrokes, a striking cobalt ultramarine blue, and handmade cyanotypes of food items. The logo is crafted to resemble a brushstroke signature on textured cotton paper, creating a personal touch for diners. The typography features deep blue ink that combines classic French brasserie elegance with artisan flair. Ultramarine brushmarks and blue steel A-frame signs define the space, while handcrafted cyanotypes decorate the dining area. Sofia Kulianu and Emma Ranne contributed to the photography and media direction, respectively. You can see the project on Behance.
