Joy BC's 'Between Ruin and Root' Debuts at Elisabetta Cipriani Gallery in London
Joy Bonfield-Colombara is presenting her inaugural solo exhibition, titled 'Between Ruin and Root,' at the Elisabetta Cipriani Gallery in London, which runs until November 10, 2026. The showcase comprises over 20 artworks, featuring six new pieces that integrate jewellery with sculpture. Bonfield-Colombara, a goldsmith with dual Italian and British heritage, considers her creations as an interweaving of emotions, shapes, and materials. She honed her skills at the Glasgow School of Art, the Royal College of Art, and through training in Italy and Japan. Notable pieces include the 2025 'Precious Tear' ring and the 'Demeter (Parched Earth / Rain)' necklace, crafted from recycled yellow gold.
