Josh Greenspan and USM Unveil VV's Cocktail Room in Chelsea, Manhattan
In Chelsea, Manhattan, restaurateur Josh Greenspan has teamed up with USM to launch VV's Cocktail Room, which incorporates Steel Blue USM Haller modular shelving. This bar, named after his daughter Vivian, offers an intimate omakase cocktail experience with 18 seats. The design, developed in collaboration with Ian Mutschelkanus from USM, utilizes USM as the structural backbone. Guests are welcomed through a glass block entrance, with navy blue USM panels lining the walls and a dark walnut bar top. The aesthetic draws inspiration from Tokyo and Hong Kong between the 1960s and 1990s. Greenspan also joined forces with bartender Neal Bodenheimer and friend Vincent Favela for the cocktail offerings, while his mother, Dorie Greenspan, crafted the snack menu.
