Joséphine Topolanski's 'Le Impronte del Cielo' at Studiolo, Milan

Joséphine Topolanski (b. 1998, Paris) presents 'Le Impronte del Cielo' at Studiolo in Milan, transforming the space into an altar-like environment blending UFO iconography, quantum mysticism, and ancestral ritual. The exhibition features works such as 'Chandelier Quantique' (2026), 'Cierges Ufologiques' (2024), and 'Comme un flash d’appareil photo' (2026). Topolanski, a 2021 ENSAD graduate, has participated in Jeune Création and Art Basel Paris, and held residencies at Villa Belleville, Pantin, and Bucharest. Her practice, described as 'parafiction' by critic Lambert-Beatty, creates suspended states between truth and falsehood. The show includes a silver star-shaped fabric illuminated by site-specific light, emerging from soot made from votive candles burned in a Romanian church.
