Josef-Schwarz School by Behnisch Architekten Opens in Heilbronn
Behnisch Architekten completed the Josef-Schwarz School in Heilbronn's Neckarbogen district, Germany, in 2024. The 55 m² educational building is among the country's most ambitious recent school projects. Lead architect Florian Waller designed an organically structured ensemble that integrates interior and exterior spaces to foster learning and social interaction. The campus brings together various educational levels under a coherent architectural concept. The design team included Asli Cinkara, Anna Lena Wörn, and others. Engineering consultants included Schlaich, Bergermann & Partner for structural work and Bartenbach GmbH for lighting. Photographs by David Matthiessen document the project.
