Jornadas de Arquitectura Iberoamericana: UIC Barcelona School of Architecture launches new conference series

UIC Barcelona School of Architecture has launched the Jornadas de Arquitectura Iberoamericana, a new conference series curated by professor Fredy Massad. The event aims to provide a rigorous examination of architectural practice, construction, and research across Iberoamerica, addressing the region's diverse social, cultural, economic, and territorial contexts. The program will explore how architecture responds to major 21st-century challenges from different local realities. Open to architecture professionals, educators, and students, the conference seeks to foster academic and professional exchange on contemporary Iberoamerican architecture. The first edition will take place on July 23 and 24, 2026, from 17:00 to 20:30 in the Salón de Grados.
