Joni Mitchell’s Former Malibu Beach House Lists for $27 Million

A beachfront home in Malibu Colony, once owned by Joni Mitchell, has been listed for $27 million. The Canadian singer-songwriter acquired the parcel in the early 1980s and commissioned architect Ron Goldman to design a modern Cape Cod bungalow with clapboard siding, soaring ceilings, and skylights. The property features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a detached guesthouse, an ocean-facing solarium where Mitchell painted, and direct beach access. It has been owned by the same family for about 40 years and remains faithful to Goldman's original design. The listing is held by Nanette Iggulden of Coldwell Banker Realty and Jody Katz of Estates and Trusts Realty.
