Jillian Edelstein Retrospective 'Among People' Extended at Stills Gallery, Edinburgh
The Jillian Edelstein retrospective, titled 'Jillian Edelstein – Among People,' at Stills Gallery in Edinburgh has been extended until October. Curated by Tracey Marshall-Grant, this exhibition showcases the Cape Town-born photographer's work spanning five decades. The display features early photographs from Johannesburg and Cape Town, a project in Portugal, her 'Affinities' portrait series, images of Sangoma healers, and portraits from Ukraine in 'Here and There: An Expedition of Sorts' (GOST, 2024), along with recent captures of swimmers at Hampstead Heath pond (2020-2022).
