Jill Newhouse Gallery to Showcase Master Drawings at 2026 IFPDA Print Fair
From April 9-12, 2026, the Jill Newhouse Gallery will make its inaugural appearance at the IFPDA Print Fair, located in the Invitational section of the Park Avenue Armory. Titled One of a Kind, the exhibition showcases a carefully selected array of master drawings from the 19th and 20th centuries, representing both European and American artists. Featured works include pieces by Edward Hopper, Henri Matisse, J.B.C. Corot, Victor Hugo, J.F. Millet, and Pierre Bonnard, as well as portrait drawings of Dora Maar by Picasso and Augustus John, a Welsh artist. This collection aims to emphasize the significance of drawing in the artistic journey, contrasting with the usual editions and multiples found at the fair. Other participating institutions include The Drawing Center, The Hammer Museum, and the National Gallery of Australia.
