Jennifer Bonner Transforms Atlanta Warehouse into Loop Art Centre for Goat Farm and Georgia Tech
Loop, an innovative art center situated in a refurbished warehouse from the early 1900s in Atlanta, has officially opened its doors, showcasing the design of architect Jennifer Bonner. Acquired by Georgia Tech in 2018 from Randall Brothers, who had been at the location since 1885, this facility is part of the Creative Quarter initiative. Under a three-year contract, Goat Farm manages Loop, offering spaces for events, exhibitions, and artist studios. Bonner’s design features 17 studios, a versatile central area, and a movable translucent curtain. The interior is enhanced by custom planter carts and LED lighting, crafted in collaboration with Pablo Gnecco. Loop has already hosted various performances and exhibitions, including those by Hyojin Kwon and Frank Vigroux, marking it as the first building on Georgia Tech's campus created by a female architect.
