Jan Baszak's "Within and For Each Other" Opens at WHOISPOLA During Warsaw Gallery Weekend
Jan Baszak's exhibition titled "Within and For Each Other" is being held at WHOISPOLA in Warsaw from September 18 to October 24, 2026. The gallery, situated at Londyńska 13, welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Saturday between 13:00 and 18:00. A notable piece in the exhibit showcases a sculpture of two albino roe deer sharing saliva, accompanied by a third head that plays John Dowland's "Flow My Tears." The walls are adorned with cream padded panels and upright padded bars, enhancing the soft aesthetic. An exhibition text authored by Sebastian Cichocki in August 2026 delves into concepts of body boundaries, endosymbiosis, and societal taboos surrounding albino deer. Baszak, a Berlin-based sculptor born in 1994 in Szczecin, is featured in this show, which is managed by Anna Molska and Patrick Komorowski.
