James Turrell's 100th 'Skyspace' Opens at ARoS in Aarhus

The latest addition to James Turrell's renowned series, his 100th Skyspace named 'As Seen Below,' has been unveiled at ARoS in Aarhus, Denmark. This architectural work is characterized by a dome that includes an oculus directed at the sky. Measuring more than 50 feet in height and 130 feet in width, the dome has the capability to either reveal the sky or close the oculus, allowing colored light to illuminate the interior. This achievement signifies the expansion of Turrell's celebrated series, which now encompasses 26 nations.
