Jaime Prous Architects Completes Villa Truc, a 300 m² Hillside House in Teià, Maresme

architecture-design · 2026-09-30

Villa Truc, a 300 m² residence designed by Jaime Prous Architects, has been completed in Teià, Maresme. This three-story home comprises a top level dedicated to energy and transportation, a central social area, and a lower level featuring private rooms that open to the garden. A modular framework and a staircase serve as a light well, connecting the various floors. The main level boasts a spacious porch-patio-terrace that offers views of Sant Mateu and the Mediterranean Sea. The design emphasizes cross ventilation and solar shading, reducing dependence on mechanical systems. Influences from Modernism and Noucentisme are evident, with local materials such as lime stucco and Alicante blinds. Surrounding vegetation is planned to harmonize with the landscape over time.
