Jackie Droujko: Animation, Short Films, and Teaching as One Creative Practice

Jackie Droujko, a Vancouver-based character designer, filmmaker, and educator, has built a career that weaves together studio animation work, personal short films, and a robust teaching practice. A graduate of Sheridan Animation, she has contributed to projects at Netflix, Disney TVA, DreamWorks, Nickelodeon, and Warner Bros. Simultaneously, she directs her own short films—including Bang! Bang!, Mismatched, and the ongoing Space Date series—often handling storyboarding, animation, and compositing herself.
