Jack Savoretti and Jemma Powell on Love, Art, and Marriage

Jack Savoretti and Jemma Powell celebrate two decades together, reflecting on their passionate first encounter and the journey of family and careers they've built. Powell, known for her roles in The Hole and Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, is currently showcasing her new exhibition, Through the Eyes of the Eagle, alongside Mary West at the Chancery Rosewood hotel in London, running until 18 July 2026. Meanwhile, Savoretti will be touring with his album We Will Always Be the Way We Were throughout 2026. Residing in Oxfordshire with their three children, the couple initially met at a party, where Powell mistakenly thought Savoretti was her friend’s brother. Their early relationship was tumultuous, featuring intense arguments and a trip to Ibiza that inspired Savoretti’s song Harder Than Easy. Powell also starred in the series Devils with Patrick Dempsey and Alessandro Borghi. Savoretti emphasizes that a successful marriage requires both space and realism, suggesting to "find someone you can hate, because falling in love is easy."
