IVAM unveils major rehang spanning 100 years of art history
The Institut Valencià d'Art Modern (IVAM) has unveiled an updated permanent exhibition, following a year of meticulous preparation. The revamped space covers 1,500 square meters across ten galleries and presents a timeline of artistic evolution that spans over a century, featuring both avant-garde and contemporary works. A diverse team of curators, such as Blanca de la Torre and Ramon Escrivà, has curated pieces from notable artists including Sonia Delaunay and Cindy Sherman. The exhibition explores key artistic movements like Futurism and Cubism, while addressing significant themes such as identity and ecology, and includes outdoor installations by various artists.
