IVAM Presents Permanent Collection Exhibition with Over 500 Works
The 'La Colección del IVAM hasta hoy' exhibition has been inaugurated at the Institut Valencià d'Art Modern (IVAM) in Valencia. This permanent display features more than 500 artworks from the 20th and 21st centuries, spread across 1,500 square meters in ten distinct rooms. Curator Blanca de la Torre emphasizes both lesser-known items and renowned works by artists such as Sonia Delaunay, Alexander Calder, and Cindy Sherman. This is the first permanent exhibition in over 20 years, re-establishing public access to vital artistic heritage. The layout includes a chronological path and four thematic sections: color, ecologies, feminisms, and conflicts. The exhibition will continue until April 23, 2028, showcasing pieces by Natividad Navalón and Miquel Navarro in the vestibules and esplanade.
