Issy Wood's Self-Portraits Open at National Portrait Gallery, Launching Artist Focus Programme

exhibition · 2026-10-21

At London's National Portrait Gallery, an exhibition titled Self-Portraits showcases twelve personal paintings by Issy Wood, including seven pieces that are being displayed to the public for the first time. This marks the inaugural event of the Gallery's Artist Focus programme, which highlights contemporary portraiture. Wood's work explores themes of identity and vulnerability through fragmented representations of herself. The exhibition will be open until February 28, 2027. Meanwhile, in Milan, glass studio 6 has collaborated with Bottega Veneta to create Batch, a modular collection that features a 43-centimetre blown-glass cube available in ten different colors. Additionally, Swizz Beatz has teamed up with CB2 and designer Evan Jerry to launch Casa Dean, a sculptural furniture collection. Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen has also partnered with Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg to produce a limited-edition collection of decorative porcelain items designed by Charlotte Lynggaard.
