Isay Weinfeld and Rodrigo Oliveira Complete 111 House in São Paulo for Art-Collecting Family

In São Paulo, Brazil, architect Isay Weinfeld has finalized the 111 House, a modernist dwelling created in collaboration with landscape architect Rodrigo Oliveira for a family of contemporary art enthusiasts and their two children. This 517 sq m residence includes a 280 sq m garden intended for art displays and casual gatherings. Weinfeld's design incorporates sleek lines, exposed concrete, and warm wood, while integrating planters for vertical greenery. Oliveira focuses on cold-climate flora and botanical variety to ensure a low-maintenance garden. The four-level house has a compact footprint and features overhangs and pergolas for comfort in an urban setting. Weinfeld won a Wallpaper* Design Award in 2014 for Geneses House.
