Iris Ceramica Group Debuts Fragrance and Advanced Ceramic Surfaces After One Matter, Many Stories Exhibition

architecture-design · 2026-10-15

Iris Ceramica Group has introduced a sensory design concept that merges ceramic surfaces with fragrances, following their exhibition titled One Matter, Many Stories. In partnership with Italian perfumers Campomarzio 70, they developed the Iris Ceramica Group Fragrance, which connects scent profiles to ceramic technologies. Notable new surfaces include Dover White by Fiandre, which employs IRIDIA technology for sculptural veining; Portland by Ariostea, inspired by Dorset limestone with a Weave decor; and Negresco by Sapienstone, resembling Brazilian brecciated stone. The RELOADED collection from Diesel Living includes fresh Colorblock options and Denim Blue, translating woven textures into ceramics. Advanced digital printing techniques are highlighted in DYS Scratched Gradient and DYS Acid Flowers, alongside Arabescato Rosso and Spider White for striking high-contrast surfaces.

Key facts

  • Iris Ceramica Group launched the Iris Ceramica Group Fragrance developed with Italian master perfumers Campomarzio 70.
  • The fragrance's scent notes mirror ceramic technologies: orange blossom and neroli for Mediterranean heritage and traditional red body clay; iris flower for four-dimensional ceramic technology; almond for full-body surfaces with embedded mineral granules.
  • Dover White by Fiandre uses IRIDIA technology, combining pre- and post-firing techniques to create sculptural veining and natural shimmer without artificial coatings.
  • Portland by Ariostea interprets Dorset limestone in Greige, White, and Beige, with a Weave decor applying pure mineral granules for a tactile pattern inspired by woven rattan.
  • Negresco by Sapienstone translates dark quartzite in a 12 mm profile with a natural finish, accentuating three-dimensional geological fissures on a graphite background.
  • RELOADED by Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica adds two Colorblock options in Red with White and Blue with Silver, plus Denim Blue that translates woven fabric onto ceramic slabs.
  • DYS Scratched Gradient and DYS Acid Flowers utilize Design Your Slabs technology for edge-to-edge patterns across large-format installations.
  • The collection concludes with Arabescato Rosso featuring brushstroke veining and Spider White with fine, web-like mineral lines for high-contrast surfaces.
