Inhotim launches new Brazilian art route and extends July hours
The Inhotim Institute, located in Brumadinho, Brazil, has revealed that it will extend its operating hours in July 2026 to include Tuesdays. A new guided experience, Rota Artistas Brasileiros, has been introduced through the museum's official app, showcasing the works of more than 20 Brazilian artists along the Yellow, Orange, and Pink trails. Featured artists comprise Cildo Meireles, Tunga, Lygia Pape, Adriana Varejão, and others. Curator Deri Andrade emphasized the significance of Brazilian art within Inhotim's collection. Throughout July, visitors can enjoy free events, including the Inhotim Music School Learning Showcase on July 11, the LAB Arte & Natureza Youth Forum on July 18, and the Experiência Brumadinho fair on July 25. Operating hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, and weekends and holidays from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
