Inha Arceo on Filipino Heritage, Expressionist Painting, and 2026 Exhibitions

Filipino artist Gracinha "Inha" Arceo blends expressionist techniques with everyday scenes to honor her heritage and empower women. Born and raised in the Philippines, she began painting seriously in 2020 and left her corporate career in 2024 to pursue art full-time. That year she exhibited internationally in Madrid and Monaco. In 2025 she mounted multiple solo and group shows in Manila. In 2026 she studied at the Florence Academy of Art and exhibited in Lisbon. Upcoming 2026 exhibitions include New York City, London, and a major solo show in Manila. Arceo works primarily in acrylic and oil, using vivid colors intuitively to convey emotion and identity. Her compositions feature women in intimate, domestic, or dreamlike settings, aiming to create spaces of connection and empowerment. She hopes to elevate Filipino art globally and encourage other Filipino artists to share their voices.
