India's Largest Inland Public Aquarium Opens in Ahmedabad

Hey! So, INI Design Studio has just wrapped up the Aquatic Gallery, which is actually the biggest and first planned inland public aquarium in India. It’s located in Ahmedabad’s huge 200-acre Science City. This impressive 150,000-square-foot space opened in 2021 and is designed to mix science with entertainment, drawing in more than a million visitors each year. They even offer subsidized school trips and free entry for kids from rural areas. The project was led by architects like Jayesh Hariyani and Adi Mistri, with Vinay Panjwani on photography. A bunch of other talented folks helped out too, including engineers and manufacturers like TATA Steel and Christie Digital.
