Incube Architecture and Praksis Arkitekter Complete Edificio Creativo Levanger for Nord University

Incube Architecture and Praksis Arkitekter have completed the Edificio Creativo Levanger, a 1,200 m² building for the Facultad de Educación de Profesores y Actores (FLU) at the Universidad de Nord. Completed in 2024, the project draws on a pedagogical and architectural vision inspired by the Escuela Lecoq in Paris, in which space and environment actively participate in learning. The design integrates nature, movement and flexibility. Its main hall functions as a black box that can become a white box, transforming into a light-filled space through large glass facades that bring natural light and landscape into rehearsals and performances. Conceived as a landmark for the faculty, the building also links key campus structures, strengthening identity, orientation and accessibility through new interior connections and climate-controlled walkways. The project team at Incube Architecture comprised Bjørner Bolle, Giuseppe Basso and Maria Perdomo, with Ingrid Holtan leading for Praksis Arkitekter.
