Inclusive Arts Gallery Seeks Exhibition Spaces: Italy's First Social Inclusion Art Gallery Aims to Go Beyond Digital

Enrico Bisenzi, curator and author of the eBook 'Inclusive Design – Obblighi normativi e opportunità espressive', has launched a call to Italian galleries, museums, academies, and cultural organizations to host the Inclusive Arts Gallery, which claims to be Italy's first gallery dedicated to artistic works on social inclusion. The gallery currently has no fixed location but already possesses a collection of works and is seeking the right venue to display them. The project features expressive solutions developed by young designers aimed at improving communication with people with disabilities, whom Bisenzi prefers to call 'caratteri speciali' (special characters). This lexical shift is intentional, reflecting a view of diversity not as a limitation to be compensated but as a creative variable to be considered from the design phase. The initiative seeks to move beyond the digital realm, where the gallery currently exists, into physical exhibition spaces.
