INBAL Announces Five Shortlisted Teams for Mexico Pavilion at 2027 Venice Architecture Biennale
The Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL) has revealed five finalists for the Mexico Pavilion at the 20th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, scheduled from May 8 to November 21, 2027. This decision follows an open call for multidisciplinary teams to present their concepts in architecture and exhibition design. The selected teams include Rozana Montiel, Tania Tovar, Diego Rivero Borrell, Erika Loana; Rolando Girodengo, Angélica Oteiza; Macías Peredo Quirarte; Loreta Castro, José Pablo Ambrosi, Aisha Ballesteros, Javier Sánchez, Manuel Cervantes; and Escobedo Soliz, Annik Keoseyan, Fernando Sampietro. The theme focuses on architecture's role in fostering community engagement.
