Imperfecto Imposible: A New Dance Work by Richard Mascherin
Choreographer and dancer Richard Mascherin premieres his new work 'Imperfecto Imposible' in 2026 at Dans València, followed by a tour across Spain and Europe. The piece explores two bodies in a cycle of devotion and dependency, questioning permanence and connection in a fractured present. Mascherin's choreography draws from dance, performance, and ritual, with cinematic and science fiction undertones. The work unfolds in cycles, where order unravels and attachments dissolve. The bodies hover between balance and collapse, desire and exhaustion. The editorial project is presented by KALTBLUT, with photography and creative direction by Arancha Brandón, styling by Aster Rodríguez, and text by Roberto Majano. Dancers include Richard Mascherin and Ignacio Fizona. Costume production by Jota Studio, stage design by Laura Iturralde. Fashion brands include Lemaire, Ssstein design, Patrick Walsh Romeo, and Cos.
