Impepinable Studio Converts Shipping Containers into Agrosemillas Seed Company Offices in El Peral, Spain

architecture-design · 2026-09-22

Impepinable Studio, located in Madrid, has finalized a 280-square-metre office space for Agrosemillas, a leader in seed production and sustainable agricultural technology, situated in El Peral, Cuenca. This new office complements over 4,500 square metres dedicated to production and storage, supporting the company's transition towards agricultural technology and sustainability. The design of the three buildings incorporates local materials, reflecting a "deliberately austere architectural approach." Positioned on a concrete base, the office features four repurposed kelly green shipping containers topped with a sawtooth roof to enhance natural light and support experimental crops. Inside, mustard yellow highlights adorn doorframes and storage units, while the layout promotes open workspaces, service areas, and meeting rooms to cater to varied employee needs and encourage a vibrant identity.
