Igor Hosnedl Returns to London's PM/AM with Exhibition 68

exhibition · 2026-09-29

Czech artist Igor Hosnedl, born in 1988 in Uherské Hradiště and now based in Berlin, returns to London gallery PM/AM for Exhibition 68, a solo presentation. The show combines works on paper created around 2021 with paintings from the same period alongside more recent pieces, spanning multiple moments of his practice. It follows his earlier appearance at the gallery in Exhibition 10. The drawings share a timeframe with Rapunzel, Hosnedl's 2021 solo exhibition at hunt kastner in Prague. That project took the Brothers Grimm tale as a departure point, treating the story not as illustration but as a means of probing the ambiguity central to his work: childlike naivety set against dread, and narratives that refuse clear resolution. Critic Eva Skopalová, writing about the series, located its logic in ornament itself. Exhibition 68 is presented by PM/AM in London.
