World Architecture Competitions has launched an international contest for a contemporary thermal retreat at Blue Lagoon, Iceland. The facility will serve as a tourist attraction offering an immersive experience with water, rock, steam, and landscapes. The program includes a main thermal pool, a cold-water plunge pool, relaxation and contemplation spaces, and six exclusive suites for extended stays.
