La Casa Encendida in Madrid presents 'I become a river whose brown tongue never rests,' an exhibition exploring the entanglement of nature, technology, and perception through the work of four artists. Cecilia Fiona creates hybrid ecosystems in installations and paintings where bodies and matter intertwine in continuous transformation. Leticia Martínez Pérez builds structures oscillating between organic and artificial, activating perception mechanisms that reveal representational ambiguity. Leonor Serrano Rivas develops sculptural devices combining scientific processes, organic materials, and symbolic references, blurring boundaries between natural, technical, and alchemical realms. Lola Zoido investigates landscape and technology via 3D modeling and virtual reality, producing forms between physical and simulated. The curatorial proposal frames the exhibition space as an expanded greenhouse, where each installation develops its own microclimate and growth pace, inviting visitors to imagine futures beyond control or exploitation. The show displaces anthropocentric centrality, presenting nature as an active relational system that perceives, adapts, and responds, while biological and computational realms become interdependent. It proposes a shift from how technology transforms nature to how nature incorporates and reconfigures technical systems in its adaptation processes. The exhibition runs at La Casa Encendida, Madrid.
