The Zhengzhou Liuzhuang Urban Development Museum, designed by HYP-ARCH CONSULTANTS, opened in 2022 with an area of 3,100 m². Located south of Huayuan Road and Lian-Huo Expressway in Zhengzhou, China, the museum occupies the site of a former urban village that once housed nearly 300,000 migrant workers. Demolition began around 2016, leading to the area's transformation. The project was led by architects He Yi and Xingkai Zhang, with a design team including Jiefeng Yang, Zhenhai Ding, Yutao Wang, and others. Interior design was by SUNNY NEUHAUS PARTNERSHIP, and landscape architecture by L&A GROUP. The client is Henan Poly Development Co., Ltd. Materials used include Alucobond and G-Crystal. The museum documents the rapid urbanization of Zhengzhou over the past 40 years since China's reform and opening up.
