Hundreds Attend Jacob Elordi Lookalike Contest at University of Bristol's College Green

An estimated 500 spectators gathered on College Green to watch a Jacob Elordi lookalike contest organized by Overheard at UoB, a social media community focused on University of Bristol life. Competitors wore tote bags and slouchy sweatshirts and performed catwalk struts and Australian accents. The title went to a 17-year-old girl who declined to be named; Joey Lush took second place after finding outfit inspiration on Pinterest and grabbing a tote bag from the fresher's fair. Jamie Crook, recently arrived from Oxford, said the turnout shocked him and that he "had jelly legs the whole time," adding it was a good way to make friends and that he felt like one of Bristol's most famous people for a day. Crook, a veterinary medicine student, credited Elordi with carrying his dating career since The Kissing Booth, thanked his barber, and blamed a croaky accent round on lingering "fresher's flu." Lush called the winner a clear choice and suggested her moustache sealed it. Elordi, 29, is known for The Kissing Booth, Saltburn, Frankenstein, Wuthering Heights, Priscilla and HBO's Euphoria.
