Hublot and Jeff Koons Unveil Limited-Edition Timepieces

Hublot has teamed up with Jeff Koons to create two exclusive timepieces: the Classic Fusion Balloon Dog and the MP-14 Origin, blending modern art with watchmaking. The Classic Fusion Balloon Dog reimagines the Classic Fusion case, drawing inspiration from Koons's famous Balloon Dog sculptures, and features a puffed dial, a domed sapphire crystal, and whimsical elements like a balloon tail positioned at 10:30 and a balloon-dog counterweight on the seconds hand. Limited to 200 pieces, it comes in mirror-polished steel and anodized aluminum in red or blue. The MP-14 Origin, part of Hublot's Exceptional Timepieces, introduces the brand's first automatic central tourbillon and references cosmic inflation, named after Koons's early 14th Street exhibition. This collaboration exemplifies Hublot's 'Art of Fusion' philosophy, merging traditional craftsmanship with innovative materials, a legacy that traces back to Carlo Crocco's launch of the first luxury rubber-strapped watch in 1980. Koons, known for works like Rabbit and the Celebration series, aligns his material explorations with Hublot's innovations. The watches demonstrate the increasing convergence of art and wearable technology, with the Balloon Dog designed to human scale.
