HP Launches AEC Platform to Address Information Continuity in Architecture

HP has introduced an AEC platform, 'For work that becomes the world,' aimed at reducing information loss across architecture, engineering, and construction workflows. The platform includes HP Build Workspace for project coordination, HP DesignJet printers for large-format documentation, and HP SitePrint for robotic layout on construction sites. This initiative responds to a 2024 McKinsey report showing construction productivity grew only 0.4% annually from 2000 to 2022, compared to 50% in the global economy and 90% in manufacturing, with rework and errors costing 4% to 10% of project costs. The AEC technology market is expanding at over 12% per year.
