Hotel Nachan: A Serene Mekong River Retreat by PAVA Architects
PAVA architects have completed Hotel Nachan in Chiang Khan, Thailand, a small-scale hotel designed as a tranquil village cluster that reflects the serene spirit of the Mekong River landscape. The project, curated by Miwa Negoro, covers 1,200 square meters and was completed in 2025. The design minimizes the hotel's footprint by using reclaimed wood, integrating subtly into the existing environment. Respecting the existing trees, the hotel rooms are organized around calm triangular courtyards, providing privacy and a respectful connection to the land.
