HOT BODIES Brings 'The Transition Pieces' to La Maison des Métallos on October 23

other · 2026-10-16

Gérald Kurdian, performing as HOT BODIES, takes the stage at La Maison des Métallos in Paris on October 23 for a one-off concert blending electronic folk, club pop and chamber music. The set features exclusive previews of tracks from the forthcoming album The Transition Pieces alongside material from the recent EP Digital Fairy / Folk Songs, rearranged specifically for the venue. The new arrangements call on a string duo, the Hot Bodies Ensemble choir and surprise guests. Departing from earlier electronic productions, Kurdian adopts a more acoustic and embodied approach: voice, bass, piano, strings, choir and samplers form a sensitive, vibrant 'chamber pop' meant to generate images, affects and narratives. Songs unfold in stripped-back versions in which songwriting and vocal textures take centre stage. Between intimate ballads and electronic progressions, HOT BODIES continues to map a space in transformation, where queer imaginaries, folkloric resonances and contemporary sensations intersect. The evening is billed as a unique and moving experience celebrating bodies and singular loves. The event is a partner happening of the Club Artistik Rezo, announced via press release.
