HON Opens Flagship Showroom in Chicago During Fulton Market Design Days 2026

During Fulton Market Design Days 2026, held June 8–10 in Chicago, US furniture manufacturer HON opened its new flagship showroom at 320 N. Sangamon Street. The 1,100-square-meter space on the 11th floor unites HON's workplace and K-12 divisions for the first time, allowing designers, distributors, and specifiers to experience integrated solutions for corporate and educational environments. The showroom is organized into four thematic areas: The Commons, featuring the new Brim™ chair; The Sandbox, previewing the Mosaic™ modular lounge system launching November 2026; The Hub, comparing traditional and contemporary office layouts with wellness spaces including lactation rooms; and The Education Lab, inspired by the "Color in Motion" philosophy, previewing Scribble™ school furniture. HON highlighted its environmental commitments: products are certified by BIFMA LEVEL® and SCS Indoor Advantage Gold, manufactured in zero-waste-to-landfill facilities, and the company has reduced Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 79% since 2018, exceeding Science Based Targets (SBTi) goals.
