Historisches Museum Frankfurt Previews Bolongaropalast Museum with 'Höchst erzählt!' Exhibition

The Historisches Museum Frankfurt is presenting "Höchst erzählt! Über das Museum im Bolongaropalast," an exhibition running until 28 February 2027 that previews the new museum planned for the Bolongaropalast in Frankfurt's Höchst district. The Bolongaropalast itself will not open until summer 2027, but the city is publicly marking the countdown. Described as a "Stadtlabor-Ausstellung," the show focuses on Höchster Porzellan, the history of the Bolongaro family, and above all the history of Höchst — themes that will also anchor the future museum. The opening will extend Frankfurt's Museumsufer as far as Höchst, and the institution is intended to offer substantial thematic content. Accompanying programming includes workshops, discussion rounds, and guided tours at various locations in Höchst and the Frankfurter Westen, designed to carry the countdown into public space before the opening. The exhibition is on view now at the Historisches Museum.
