Hiroshima MOCA Opens Three-Chapter Collection Exhibition Series

The Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art marks its third anniversary with a year-long exhibition series named 'The Time of the Museum.' This series is divided into three segments: 'Time Machines' from June 27 to September 23, 2026; 'Bundles of Time' running from October 10, 2026, to January 24, 2027; and 'Time Flows Here' from February 27 to June 13, 2027. The first chapter showcases works by Ikeda Masuo, Kusama Yayoi, and Keith Haring. Additionally, a limited showing of Miyajima Tatsuo's 'Death of Time' (1989) will be available from August 1 to September 23, 2026. Other exhibitions include 'My Hijiyama Notes' (April 25–June 28, 2026) and 'The 12th Hiroshima Art Prize: Mel Chin' (July 25–October 12, 2026). Admission costs 350 yen, with free entry on the third Sunday of each month.
