Hintze Ribeiro Housing by Helder da Rocha Arquitectos in Leça da Palmeira

Helder da Rocha Arquitectos has completed the Hintze Ribeiro multifamily housing building in Leça da Palmeira, Portugal, a project defined by a rigorous modular system and exposed concrete construction. The client, ANI – Engenharia, Lda, specified precise surfaces and a rational, optimized build. The design orients all bedrooms and vertical access toward the north-facing Hintze Ribeiro street, while social areas open to the block's interior. Solid brick emerged as a facade cladding, reinforcing the client's design language. The building presents an austere, serious, and anonymous character. The 2,814.50 m² structure was completed in 2026, with photography by Ivo Tavares Studio.
