Hilma af Klint's Spiritual Cycle Takes Over Grand Palais in Paris

The Grand Palais in Paris is hosting 'Hilma af Klint: Paintings for the Temple (1906–1915)', marking the first significant solo exhibition of the Swedish artist in France. Curated by Pascal Rousseau and organized in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou, the exhibition features nearly all 193 pieces from af Klint's extensive spiritual cycle created between 1906 and 1915. It begins with her early notebooks and spiritual sketches, progressing to grand canvases, including the renowned series 'The Ten Largest' (1907), which depicts the stages of human life through dynamic shapes and vivid hues.
